Critter House

Critter House is open every Sunday from 12-3 PM.

Observe frogs, turtles, snakes, and more as they hop, crawl, and slither! Our Critter House is home to many species native to the region. It's a great place to get up close and personal with some fascinating and unusual animals and help children develop an appreciation for the incredible diversity of the natural world. To provide enrichment opportunities for the animals and add variety to our visitors' experiences, we rotate the animals currently on exhibit. If you do not see an animal in the Critter House when you stop by, they are either out educating a group or just taking turns in the exhibit room.

Our outdoor raptor enclosures and Black Pond Woods trails are available every day during daylight hours.

Critter House Open Hours are free, with a suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family. As a non-profit we are sustained by your participation in our programs and your generous donations. Any gift of support is appreciated! Donations can be in person or online, anytime.
